Steel can be hung anywhere, framed or unframed. It can be built into gates and garden walls, or hung in your favorite room.
Depending on how we seal the metal, they may continue to patina, giving them a changing life. Additionally, the separation of the steel and its background creates amazing shadows that change throughout the day.

(Magical) Metal Flowers
Custom designed and water-jet cut steel. Hand-dyed to your specifications. We make the frames ourselves from reclaimed local ranch wood. The frames are assembled and decorated with brackets we designed and cut. On both the ornamental brackets and the flower, the patina is done to look rustic, contemporary and amazing. This photo was taken in our Salida gallery to show how the shadows add to the piece. 48" x 48" unframed (60" x 60” framed). Can be mounted indoor or outdoor.
Numbered and signed. The unpainted area will patina over time. The sun brings out the depth of the layered colors. We do custom design/commissions. Created, colored and cut deep in the mountains of Colorado, USA.

Boxing Bunnies Rabbit Gate
Raw steel garden piece for a wall or a gate. Again, the shadows are just fun. 14g custom designed and water-jet cut steel.

Steel Picados

Virgin of Guadalupe #3
Our Lady of Guadalupe: a pregnant woman, eyes downcast, hands clasped in prayer, clothed in a pink tunic robe covered by a cerulean mantle with a black sash, emblazoned with eight-point stars; eclipsing a blazing sun while standing atop a darkened crescent moon, a cherubic angel carrying her train. *The virgin appeared again and told Juan Diego to gather roses. When he emptied the roses from his cloak, or tilma, for the bishop, an imprint of her image remained on the fabric. The garment believed to be that tilma now hangs behind the pulpit of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
